Mexico is the origin of my life. Everything, from the problems between my parents to the street kid that I was. My parents used to argue a lot, a lot less now than before. My dad was always short tempered and stubborn that he would treat my older brother and mom however he wanted. When we moved here to the United States my dad changed big time. Seeing the way my father changed really left an impact on me. I used to think to myself that he would never change. I remember how in elementary school, I was such a sensitive kid. I remember seeing them trying to avoid me and I didn’t talk to them for the rest of the year. I completely hung out with different people and ignored everyone who I used to talk to, I became a social loner. I didn’t think anyone liked or cared for me because I lacked my fathers support and I let it get to me and affect me mostly everywhere I went. Constant verbal, physical, and mentally abusive fights really kept me from showing my true potential at school and in sports. But my father has changed in the past several years and that really impacted my life. Near the beginning of highschool, I only lived for other people, always trying to satisfy people and what they thought was cool or the new trend.
