Describe The Relationship Between The Crawlers And Toddlers

Improved Essays
I think that the infants feel really happy. The reason why I say this is because they all seem to have fun like the girl who crawl her way to the basket of different rattles. She liked the sound of the rattle when it hit the bottom of the bucket so she continued to put more of the rattles into the bucket. The boy crawler was having fun by beating his hands down on to the fruit box, possibly making music in his own eyes. Then the boy decided to try and put a block, that was nearby, and put it through one of the holes in the fruit box.
He enjoyed it a lot so he continued to do this until he found something else to get his attention. The crawlers and toddlers in the middle of the room were having fun by going up and down the slightly graduated stairs. I assume that they found it amazing to get up and feel like they are flying, feel like they are taller, or enjoy the view from there to see what they can do next. Then there is the toddler who is talking with one of the teachers while building a tower of connecting pegs. The toddler was happy because he is getting attention from the teacher and able to create sometime to be proud of.

I want to say some of the aspects of the environment that contribute to this feeling would first have to be the bucket full of rattles of different types. The bucket full of rattles along with the empty bucket help the girl crawler to enjoy herself by the sound. Another one would be the block and the empty cardboard fruit box, when the block went through the box it made the boy happy that it actually worked. The other aspects that contributed to this feeling would be the slightly graduated stairs, the tower of connecting pegs, and the book with the pictures that one of the teachers were currently

Most people understand that fetuses are extremely fragile and should not be exposed to ionizing radiation; thus, health care providers utilize ultrasound for prenatal imaging. But how safe is ultrasound imaging? Is it safe enough to warrant a fetus’s exposure? Sonography is a safe choice for prenatal imaging, but there are some suspected risks involved. However, the benefits outweigh those risks as long as scans are completed appropriately, especially when it comes to the 3D and 4D ultrasounds.…

When I went to the McNay Art Museum I chose Song of Margaret for Margaret by Carl Rice Embrey. The painting was done with acrylic polymer emulsion on panel in 1973. This representational painting has a lot of eye catching and visually pleasing points. The feel of looking out onto a field from inside a room is a life like view. One thing I noticed is that shape was used.…

In the film Babies it is interesting to see that despite extraneous variables that partake in the beginning of the life of a child there are behaviors that are consistent throughout initial development. The film shows temperament exhibited around the same ages of the children; for example Mari from Japan shows her frustration with her toys or possibly herself through responding with a tantrum. It is possible she is lacking attention and is in need of companionship, I have gathered that Mari is used to getting what she wants and is easily upset unless her desired needs are met. On the other hand Ponijao who is raised in Namibia exhibits a more calm state often times and seldom cries for attention for matters other than necessities as an infant.…

Developmental theories are commonly utilized to provide a framework for understanding children’s behavior (Miller, 2011). Among these theories are John Bowlby’s Attachment Theory and Erik Erikson’s theory on psychosocial development. Bowlby’s Attachment theory explains how children develop an attachment to another individual. The term attachment is described as a dynamic relationship that is formed through the experience of interactions with others (Miller, 2011). On the other hand, Erikson’s theory proposes that children experience a universal set of crises as they develop an identity throughout their lifespan (Miller, 2011).…

I completed my infant observation at the University Child Development Center. The University Child Development Center specializes in childcare for infants all the way up to children age 12. As I completed my observation, I observed all five developmental domains which include physical, emotional and social, cognitive, adaptive, and language and communication.…
