Describe The Relationship Between Jim And Antonia

At the beginning of the novel Jim lost his parents and was sent to Nebraska to live with his grandparents. When Jim met the Shimerdas Antonia caught his eye, he exclaimed to himself that she is pretty. Soon after Jim and Antonia met they became best friends, they would spend time together when they could. Jim started teaching Antonia English which helped them communicate better from when they first met and Antonia only knew a few English words. Jim and Antonia had different ideas on life which sometimes deemed as a problem because it would often cause a disagreement between them. Jim didn't like the way the Shimerdas acted and did a lot of things, he would often scold Antonia if he disapproved of something she or her family did. Jim was a lot
