Describe The Negative Effects Of Children From Alienation Of Nature

Decent Essays
“When I was growing up” or “back in my day” are common phrases teenagers hear their parents say before a long lecture about the substantial change the world has faced. Today, we are amidst a technological revolution that continues to shape our society. And, unlike our parents, kids today are spending large amounts of time sitting in front of screens instead of spending time outside-a reduction that results in nature deficit disorder. There is no formal diagnosis for nature deficit disorder, but instead the term is used to describe the negative effects that kids face from alienation of nature.
