Hopefully, I can so by using the skills and abilities that I have learned both on campus and through personal experiences. I also expect to create a new project in the area that can be scaled and implemented throughout Ecuador. This will be part of the research project that I will be undertaking. I also hope to increase my knowledge of social entrepreneurship and consulting by engaging in both and through the guidance of experienced team leaders. Another skill I hope to improve on is my Spanish. While I am fluent in Spanish, I do not get the chance to practice it often and I seldom use it in a professional setting. Because this internship requires me speak and write in Spanish, I hope to take advantage of this and increase my verbal and writing

My educational base as a junior at Dartmouth College has taught me to understand specific events or issues through a multifaceted lens. I believe this comprehensive viewpoint is important because to analyze isolated incidents, one needs to consider the environment and background that created such incidents. My studies in cultural anthropology and international politics have familiarized me with the complex nature of cross-cultural cooperation and political relations, both of which must be considered when working within a country on behalf of the US government. For the European and Eurasian Affairs Bureau, I would consider past and current events’ effects on emergent social and political issues and refer to my living experience in Russia in…

My life goal is to run my own business in the future. When I imitatively formed a team in school; when I sparked the creative idea of selling Korean hot pot at the party; when I successfully persuade my sponsors to support our conference with free food; when I designed and uploaded my own advertisements online, and saw they were favored again and again; when my limited discount coupons were sold out during the pre-sale – I realized that my blueprint was actually coming true step-by-step and I felt excited about the unknown challenges. However, I’m also well aware that prospective business activities are not as easy as those practices I’ve experienced. Except for business sense and knowledge, critical thinking, which is exactly what I’m trying to improve, plays an important role in the real business world. Mount Holyoke College (MHC) is the place where I can discover what I am truly seeking for.…

Furthermore, I want to work in my weakness because that would definitely be going to make me a comfortable person. Another thing that I would like to take out of this internship is that I want to be better at communication skills.…

Philosophy is the fundamental nature and process of understanding the disparate aspects of existence, knowledge, values, reason, mind, and language through the problems presented by these matters of life. In order to examine and formulate a philosophy of global citizenship, a deep understanding of the aspects of life and the underlying social, political, economical, ecological, and technological problems and nature of globalization is necessary. The principal branch of philosophy that analyzes such factors is known as value theory or axiology (ethics and aesthetics). In constructing an axiological philosophy of globality, analyzing problems and actions should follow a systems thinking approach. Similar to systems thinking in community service in global action, “enacted solutions can create problems in different areas if not ‘analyzed’ on a larger scale that incorporates all aspects of…
