The factors that would cause me to initiate follow-up contacts with one of the group members is by the following;
1) If one of the members of the group has been having conflict constantly with other group members.
2) If group members have been constantly missing group session or leave early without informing the counselor.
3) If group member is not feeling comfortable and it is noticeable that they do not want to participate.
4) If one of the members felt very emotional during a discussion while in group, I will follow-up with a phone call to check up on the member.
