Describe The Difference Between Flag And Tackle Football

Improved Essays
The difference between flag and tackle football will describe the level of an athlete I was before getting into high school to play football. I was determined to be taught, learn, and listen to become the best I can be. To continue doing what I loved, I knew that I would have to take that leap into tackle football, but I was scared and overwhelmed. Throughout my life, I was always seen as one of the most athletic people when it came to any sport that was being played. Because of this, I was used to being the star player on all the teams I played on. The first time I was seen as a leader was in my junior year where I was first placed in the varsity team, with this came my ability to encourage, support and be a good resource for other team members.

Allowing kids under the age of fourteen to play tackle football can have severe consequences to their young minds. I personally do not like football but I’m sure there are other ways that younger kids can play football without tackling each other and getting hurt. “ Goldstein and his colleagues advocate for no tackle football before 14 because children’s bodies, particularly their necks and upper bodies, aren’t strong enough to counteract the bobbling of the head and shaking of the brain that occurs during tackles” (Kounang 1). Not only does that sound painful but why would a parent want that for their child.…

The first, is a strictly dominant strategy always provides greater utility to a player, no matter what the other player’s strategy may be. Conclusion Essay Football is a huge part of my life as I started to play this game at the young age of five. Throughout the years of playing and countless hours of “up downs” and what seemed like running forever, I acquired a lot more than just bruises and broken bones. I learned skills that I can carry with me for life. Football is a classic american sport that is possibly the most violent of all sports and while 47% of all concussions occur in highschool, it is still one of the most widely popular sport played by kids all over America. I would give my son permission to play this violent sport because I want him to experience and learn all the good attributes such as respect, teamwork, and building confidence.…

My supervisor taught us the main component of this position in 10 minutes. At first, I was nervous because I was new to the agency and it was my first time performing front desk duties. But after a couple of clients I began to get more comfortable and confident with the process because I had performed similar duties when I was in my cubicle. At this moment I felt like I was a leader because I was put in a position where I had minimum training, but still could take control of the office duties, and according to my supervisor, my performance level was beyond expectations.…

Since its conception, the beautiful game of soccer has been a sport played all over the world, played by many ages and admired by all. In Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa, soccer is as big of a deal, if not more, than American football is in the United States. While soccer has not been in the United States for that long, the American people do not elevate it to the same status as they do baseball, basketball, or football.
