In regards to my writing process, there have been some central strategies that I have developed over time and some strategies that I have had for as long as I can remember. For example, one skill that I have developed from high school has been to annotate, mark up, and take notes throughout my readings. I found that taking notes really helps me, not only to remember what I read but to go back and be able to point out something in my reading easily. In addition, it helped me understand the readings better. Another skill that I already had but expanded on when I entered college was making outlines. At first I start out by jotting down my ideas. But, slowly throughout college I started to notice that my outlines began to become more detailed
