How could one describe the American flag when you don't know what your true nationality is or our true heritage. The reason why I say this is because I truly don't know my nationality. I appreciate being an American living in America free, but to understand the American flag and what it represents, can i represent that i am American. Everyone see's me as American, so I really can't answer that question. Granted, one thing i can say is when I see the American flag I think of military fighting for our lives, wars, dying, and people who died in slavery for the American flag. Also, I think of my ancestors and the blood, sweat and tears sacrifice.
