Describe Mexico

Thinking about my family, images of relatives swarm into my mind. Contrary to many beliefs, for instance Google has defined family as “a basic social unit consisting of parents and their children, considered as a group, whether dwelling together or not.” However, any way a book or website defines the word, to my father who grew up in Suchilapan, family was not only blood relatives, it's the friends and people of the pueblo.
Along the coast, 56 miles from Xalapa. Mexico's oldest, largest and historically most significant port founded in the 1600’s by Spanish settlers is the famous Veracruz. Veracruz is historically rich for its beautiful beaches with crystal blue water, the scorching sun heating up the mustard colored sand mixed with black pebbles, carnivals and annual celebrations. Although tourist gave Veracruz the name “Hermosa Veracruz,” hours, minutes away, a small village formed by three main cultures; Indigenous, Ethnic Spanish and Afro-Cuban exist. …show more content…
“Crush" the cumbersome, ramshackle bikes crunch through sticks, mud and bright green leaves. While you breathe, different aromas go through your nose, one of them is the fresh, organic soil during the rain. Walking through the village, crystal clear water droplets drip from many of the one story wooden and brick buildings. Everyone is sweating to the point where their clothes are sticking to their flesh, separating it is like removing tape of paper. Hundreds of glossy, marble-like eyes will look up, down, left and right, all that is seen is children sending a black and white checkered ball in the humid air with any of their limbs, wherever they could, yelling at the top of their lungs
