Dermatologist Career Research Paper

One-third of the applicants that want to go into dermatology are declined. My goal is to be one of the majority and become a dermatologist. Dermatology is the field where physicians specialize in skin, hair, and nails. It will take a lot of effort to reach my dream career due to it being one of the most competitive doctor occupations. Furthermore, essential skills to becoming a dermatologist consists of being patient, durable, and organized. A person that is ensuing this career must have these crucial skills because it takes a lot of sleepless nights, exhausting work, and constant frustration. In fact, it is a twelve year process to become a dermatologist after high school. Moving on, I have always dreamed of being a doctor. Two of the things I need to do is keep my GPA at a 4.0 throughout high school and get a high SAT score. These are critical for my goal because it will allows me to get into good schools which can boost my chances of becoming a dermatologist. Another thing I can do is learn more about my career. I won’t be able to go into my career if I don’t know everything about it. For example, I need to know what medical schools like and what classes to take so that I can become a dermatologist.
To become a dermatologist, there are a few requirements. One of these requirements is to go through high school, college, and medical school. In these phases of my life, it is required for me to get good grades and pass SAT, MCAT, and USMLE with high scores. If I don’t meet these conditions, my chances of becoming a dermatologist are slim. Furthermore, I must complete a year of internship and three to four years of residency. This allows me to learn skills from experienced doctors and apply them.
