Deputy Pujol conducted a business patrol on 8300 North Wickham Road to look for criminal activity and to maintain visual deterrence. Deputy Pujol followed proper directions, via New World mapping, to the location and used the right radio codes. Upon arrival, Deputy Pujol parked within a safe distance of the address and approached on foot. Deputy Pujol made contact with all subjects involved and conducted a proper investigation of a noise complaint. During the investigation, Deputy Pujol was able to develop enough probable cause to charge (capias request) a neighbor with a violation of the Brevard County Ordinance, 46-130. Deputy Pujol gathered the proper paperwork for the investigation (General Affidavit) and completed the investigation without the assistance of his Field Training Officer. Deputy Pujol cleared the case with a case report and a capias request. It should be noted that Deputy Pujol was unware of the noise ordinance, but he conducted his own search of the ordinance and was able to complete the investigation.
