Observation- What is going on. - Some people with depression are not able to be treated with medicine.
Hypothesis- What we think is going to happen from using our solution. - The miracle drug I created is going to be able to treat all forms of depression in people.
Experiment- Testing the solution to see if it works.
- The experiment of 1,000 people who have a range of different severity of depression and give 500 of those the miracle drug and the other half with a placebo. However, we will make sure the groups have about the same number of those who have treatable depression and that isn’t treatable. Over the six months they take the medicine, there will be routinely therapy/evaluation sessions to see if there is any progress or not.
