Depression and sadness in undergrads are at an all time high. I know this because I am going through this as we speak. During the course of my undergrad year, I have been having huge amounts of depression and anxiety. I am not sure exactly what it is but I know that being a 21-year-old in college has a lot to do with it. Stress with living on my own, having to balance a job and my schoolwork has taken a major toll on me as a young adult. What I have realized listening to my peers is that a great amount of us young people are having difficulties going about our day to day routines because of depression.
