Discussion Question 2 The word epistemology itself comes from two Greek words ?Episteme? meaning knowledge or understanding and ?Logia? meaning science or study. In a philosophical context, epistemology is the ?study of knowledge and justified belief,? examples of philosophical questions are: What are the necessary and sufficient conditions of knowledge? What are its sources? What is its structure, and what are its limits? To justify a belief, examples of philosophical questions are: How we are to understand the concept of justification? What makes justified beliefs justified? To justify a belief, claims must be justified, this is done by using evidence. …show more content…
(Philosophy Basics). Deontological theory of morality was developed by Immanuel Kant. Moral acts are either right or wrong on principle, and we have a duty to do good no matter the circumstances. Deontologists highly believes in morals, such as: It is wrong to kill innocent people, it is wrong to steal, it is wrong to tell lies, and it is right to keep promises.
