I spent some time looking at careers and i found a couple that interested me one of the carriers was to become a firefighter. my family in the past have all been firefighters like my grandpa and great grandpa. and a lot of my family wants the generation of firefighters to go on so because of this I feel like firefighting would be a good choice. I also like doing physical work and I am very athletic and healthy two things you need to be a good firefighter. Another career that has interested me is becoming a dentist the reason for this is because i like helping people and i like money a lot of dentists get paid $150,000+ and it also seems fun to take x rays and use all the tools for cleaning. Although being a dentist would be a great career for me i believe a better and more enjoyable career would be Fire fighting. one of my possible careers was dentistry and in dentistry you work with the patient's teeth and mouth. you also have to take x-rays and use different tools for cleaning and repairing teeth. the education that is required for becoming a …show more content…
The benefits of being a firefighter are receiving health insurance and also paid vacations, sick leave, And a retirement plan. You are also provided with equipment and clothing to protect yourself. Also you get the benefit of helping others and saving lives every day.
The outlook for becoming a firefighter is the hiring rate is very large the only downside is a ton of people went to become a firefighter so it is hard to become one. And in Oregon the number of jobs for firefighters is expected to grow. End it and it will be good job opportunities as people are expected to retire and leave. And also growth in this occupation is relatively small due to Limited budget. And people who are physically fit and have firefighter experience are most likely to get the job out of
