Thinking back on my elementary school years, I have vivid memories experiencing curiosity for my own, as well as my classmates’ “wiggly teeth.” Ever since then, my interest in dentistry has grown exponentially. It is clear to me that dental health is the career path I want to pursue in the hopes of ultimately becoming a dentist.
I want to be a dental hygienist with the academic background to apply to dental school in my future. Last summer I was able to job shadow a dental hygienist. A regret that the hygienist shared with me was not having their bachelor’s degree which is required for admission to dental school. Thanks to the college credit transfer agreement between the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Northeast Wisconsin Technical
