Hygienists do a lot in their career they clean and polish teeth with hand, power, and ultrasonic tools. Dental hygienists use many machines and tools to do there job. These tools allow them to Remove tartar, stains, and plaque from teeth, also take and develop x-rays. As a hygienist you can do simpler tasks like Assess patient's’ oral health and report findings to dentists. Also document patient care and treatment plans educate patients about oral hygiene techniques, such as how to brush and floss correctly.
