This semester I had the opportunity to have a rotation in Meharry Dental School’s General Practice Residency (GPR) clinic. This clinic provides comprehensive dental services in all areas of general dentistry. While this clinic provides dental services to the general community, the hospital-based clinic allows clinicians to coordinate dental care to those patients with more complex medical conditions. This opportunity was very beneficial to my clinical growth for various reasons. This rotation was my first time providing services outside of the Tennessee StateUniversity clinic. This opportunity allowed me to adjust to a different and new type of operatory with different instruments that I was not used to. It also gave me the opportunity to work
