TITLE OF THE STUDY: MINIMIZING CALCIUM LOSS ASSOCIATED WITH DENTAL BLEACHING
Introduction
The appearance of teeth plays a significant role in human personality development and is often related with a perception of health and fitness. White and bright teeth are thought to be linked with health and beauty, so everybody wishes to have them. Presently, cosmetic dentistry is a dynamic part of restorative dental practice and cosmetic procedures are increasing in demand without age and gender difference. Popularity of cosmetic procedures is related to the upgradation of living standards (Gama Cunha et al., 2012).
Besides personality development, dentistry is playing a vital role in reducing the frequency and severity of dental problems, which has helped people from all age groups to maintain the natural strength of teeth for a longer period of time.
Discoloration of teeth is a common problem, faced by larger population of the world including New Zealand. Now, people are much conscious to improve the appearance of their discolored teeth. These people want to recover the esthetic appearance of their smiles, as well as they are searching for an effective method to restore natural teeth beauty (Baroudi & Hassan, 2014).
