Dental Health Alliance is a nationally recognized program in Wisconsin that provides care to children who do not have access to dental care. This strong private partnership started my passion for Dental Assisting. My parents are divorced and my mom raised me and my two brothers on her own with disability as a main income. This program was beneficial to my family because there was not a cost for dental care. One of the biggest problems today is that most families cannot afford dental care like my mom. Because Dental Health Alliance placed sealants on my teeth I was lucky enough not to get cavities during my childhood. This made my experience at the dentist a lot more enjoyable.
