The actor established this character through the way he dressed and the style that he spoke. Mejia presented the audience a feeling of a gangster. Throughout the play, he was being the character, Sal, rather than himself. One of the skills that he had and other actors may not have was that he was able to speak and walk like a real gangster. The actor attempted to show the audience that people have to take the consequence of the bad things that they did, which for this play, Sal was killed by Big Tuna. The play was clear and straight forward, which it started with the conflicts and problems, then it later built to the climax. The ending also provided the solution to the problems that they were facing at the beginning of the play. Den of Thieves was not only a play that brought happiness for the audience, but also taught a life lesson to the audience. As an audience, I learned that I should always try to be the best of myself, and make my decisions wisely. I believe this play worth my time and money to watch it, and I would recommend others to watch it
