Technology is also a large factor that can contribute to people conforming to certain ideas. In the article, “Democracy, Narcissism, and the World Wide Web” Craig Condella emphasizes how so many people have become internet famous for no reason but just because they wanted to be. One of these people are Tila Tequila, although she claims to be famous for being an actress, modeling, rapping, singing and being a blogger she is mostly internet famous, “she gets somewhere from 3,000 to 5,000 new friend requests everyday” (Condella 15). She has so many fans and continues to gain more every day. The people that follow her could be considered conformists, because they don’t really know who she is or what she is famous for but still continue to praise
