Rather than the film starting with the birth of Jesus, it starts off with Jesus on his ministry. Cecil B. DeMille turns the life and Passion of Christ from his meeting with Mary Magdalene, in the very beginning, to his crucifixion, resurrection and the ascension of Christ into heaven after the Resurrection. Although there was words being spoken in the film, DeMille formulated the movie with great sets and incredible effects. The overall tone in this film is carefully crafted in reverence to the Bible. The message is advocated in a particular way that the audience is able to see the actual sense of God’s power and
