One of the mystery cults in Rome worshiped the Goddess Demeter. Demeter was a fertility Goddess, they also worshipped her daughter Persephone. Demeter embodied the harvest and would give a good harvest. Persephone embodied the spring and the bringing of life after it was killed in winter. They were worshiped by the Eleusinian Mysteries. Followers had to be initiated into the cult. Their beliefs focus on an afterlife and visions to the afterlife. It was important to form a connection with Demeter, or Persephone so they could allow believers visions of the afterlife. The most likely way the followers received visions, was due to psychedelics.
Another Goddess of fertility was Isis, she was originally an Egyptian Goddess. As a Mother Goddess, Isis is represented as a loving, and protective mother of her son Horus. To be in the Cult of Isis, a follower should be a good person, and they will be judged on their life to get

She was a goddess with power over animals, and a goddess of nature. Followers of Magna Mater performed sacrifices to the goddess to have a closer union with her, like her lover Attis did. Followers of Magna Mater had large orgies to celebrate the union of Attis and Magna Mater, they also drank alcohol and used drugs during the celebrations. The worship of Magna Mater was only allowed for noncitizens of Rome, but during a war, an oracle predicted a loss unless the city of Rome built a temple to Manga Mater. The followers of Magna Mater performs a rebirth ritual called taurobolium. They would sacrifice a bull by slitting its throat and bathing in the blood. This bloodbath was meant to cleanse them and allow them to have an afterlife. This ritual was very expensive and they would sometimes use a different animal for sacrifice. They would also castrate the bull before sacrifice so they wouldn’t have to castrate themselves. Men would do ritual castration to show devotion to Magna
