I can bring proficiency and creativeness to the organization of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated. One of the Five Point thrust focuses on Physical/Mental awareness. Being on the committee of the Women’s Initiative Program and a Psychology major, we have held conferences in the past that focused on the holistic woman. With that experience I would like to help Delta Sigma Theta enlighten young women on mental health and the importance of taking care of your mind would. On my campus the members of Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated held an event called Red goes Pink, pertaining to breast Cancer awareness. My hopes is that if I am selected an event geared toward domestic violence can be held, being that domestic violence is one major destroyers
