Deloitte Personal Statement

Post MBA, I wish to work as an Operations Consultant at Deloitte, working with clients to extract value from an operation. I will assist in making changes, implement them, and then assess what impact these changes have made and what could have been done differently. This experience will hone my problem solving and business skills and refine my industry knowledge. Five years down the line, developing within the scope of the firm, as a Consulting Manager, I expect to be an expert in Operations, responsible for project planning and resource deployment. I would lead project teams and be involved in client acquisitions. This would enhance my relationship management skills, required at the senior level.

Given my specialisation in Operations Consulting and a track record of delivering large and complex implementations across industries; over the long term, I aspire to be a Partner at a leading consulting firm like McKinsey & Company or Accenture. Dedicated to give back to society, after a decade at the helm, I wish to be involved in non-profit Consulting. My experiences from my family-run NGO for special children and the multiple pro-bono consulting projects that I would be actively involved in through CSR initiatives during my career, would help me to achieve this.
