Deloitte National Leadership Conference (DNLC)

I’m writing to you today to express my interest in the Deloitte National Leadership Conference (DNLC). After talking to various students who have attended this conference, I believe that DNLC will provide me with the opportunity to demonstrate and further enhance my skills and abilities by attempting new tasks and challenging myself. As a passionate individual with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, I believe that I will be a great addition to DNLC this summer.
I am greatly interested in Deloitte as Deloitte LLP is one of Canada’s leading professional service firms with admirable standards as listed in the Code of Conduct, such as the concept of “True Market Leadership”. By being an executive member on three different organizations, it has challenged along with further enhanced my communication and leadership skills while exercising the act of teamwork and integrity. For example, I’m currently a Project Manager for our last event of the term which involves the gathering of GCC alumni and organizing the logistics for the day. Likewise, through my role as an External Relations Executive on the Accounting and Finance Student Association (AFSA), I was the Project Manager for specific case competitions and conferences that that were occurring at other universities. With this role, I had to report to the vice president regarding my findings and direct them through the application processes.
