The wealthy students Picks its major by knowing what they really want to do not because they got to worry if there’s any jobs available for them they even pick up to two majors because they have the amount to pay for another path. Southern students which are basically the lower class would have to do a research on what’s out there for them what kind of career would bring them opportunity’s and money to be able to pay for loans they had to borrow during the school and that’s why a Southern student might not continue its education after a bachelor or may not have two majors just like a wealthy student. Picking a major to a lower-class student Is sometimes hard because the major they pick is not exactly what they wanted but because the amount of credits they already have by doing the basic classes lead them to pick a major that’s half way down and they wouldn’t have to be in school for any longer. Mullen also explains that a higher education will be more successful to a person in the work industry because it would show that the student has had a lot more of participation in the major they’re enroll in. Overall there would always be a wealthy and a lower class for students in the college industry but before it was rare to see a student going to college and getting a degree everything has change more students have been able to have the privilege of affording a path to get a degree on any type of career the college Is being able to give them.
