The news shines light on current issues like the pipeline in Nebraska but, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t shine light on the extinction of Tiger’s in Southeast Asia due to deforestation. For instance, these large corporate companies are only thinking of ways of putting money in their pockets instead of what environmental harm they are causing. Despite it all, the community needs to tell the public of the issues at hand facing the fate of Tigers. Even if the news doesn’t talk about the issues in Southeast Asia we should spread the word about the Tigers and ways to help bring them back. Sadly, “few people realize that a primary cause of the collapse of the society has been the destruction of the environmental resources on which they depended” (Diamond 181-182). A lot of the issues we cause to our planet is the destruction we put it threw thinking things will get better on their own. Deforestation is one of the largest issues in Asia and around the world. In Southeast Asia, it’s a big issue because it is our rainforest, which should be protected against these assaults. For example, we should try and reduce the negative impacts we cause to the Earth by only thinking of ourselves and the needs of humanity. Another Example, is we need to stop being destructive to our planet. Our environmental impacts we create can be extreme and our natural world can only handle so many treats. If we cut down all the trees what then will happen to the rainforest and what will help provide clean oxygen to humanity? We never consider the mass production, we need to keep up with the increasing numbers of humans and look at the harm it’s causing to our eco-system’s
