My Mug Research Paper

Have you ever arrived at work or school to realize your coffee is no longer hot? Have you ever been laying under the sun wanting to be refreshed by something cold to only be greeted by an unpleasant lukewarm drink? With the invention of MyMug you will no longer be caught in these unfortunate events! MyMug users can electronically control their drink temperature to be comfortably warm, or satisfyingly cold. MyMug is like that of a conventional travelling mug; with the additional electronic heating/cooling button options, including a detachable charging bottom at the base. Standard temperature rates are included, so users have some variation on preferred levels for their drink. Many campus’s have small cafés or there are coffee shops within walking distances. University and post secondary education students have more reason to stay up late by working on multiple tests and assignments and therefore, consume more coffee. The MyMug is a great way to keep one’s coffee hot all day while students are between classes and are constantly on the move. Not only would a MyMug benefit a student in the sense that it could keep a drink warm, but also keep their water at a refreshing drinking temperature. University and college athletes could continuously keep their Gatorade or water cold while at practice or games to keep them refreshed. By targeting athletes and college student, the design of our product must appeal to the way a student tends to use it. If a student feels he or she is more likely to use their MyMug for sports and recreation, the design must be durable and have a sporty look to appeal to those customers. If a student chooses to use a MyMug as an everyday use for cold and hot drinks, we can design the mug with generic colors, but still stylish
