Many of us believe or think that we are in love with a certain someone or something you do in your everyday life. For me I have always questioned if I knew what love really meant or what love really felt like, like how do I know if I love this certain person or knew if I really love doing what I do. I have always thought about this question and I really want it answered so I decided to research this topic about how do I truly know if I love someone or something I do in my everyday life. During my research I also added the question of what does it feel like to be loved. My main focus was to ask people I knew like my friends and family and ask them what their definition of love is and how they knew they loved. I dug deep in the articles and websites …show more content…
While conducting my interviews and researching and reading all these articles this truly made me happy. From hearing my sisters definition of love and how she explained me how she feels when she is loved and how she knew was absolutely beautiful. To hearing my friends definitions of love and theirs were different than anyone else's was just a really cool experience to have them open up to me and show me and help me understand what it means or feels like to love something or someone, or what their definition of love is. All these articles I read, all these websites I searched, all these people I listened to, everything I have done in the past couple weeks to understand the real definition of love, the universal definition of love. I found many many beautiful sayings, articles, my heart was warmed while searching. Searching this question honestly just made my heart warm like I truly felt good inside. Although that this question wasn't really answered the way I wanted it to be answered… It did help me figure my definition of feeling loved and being able to say I love someone or something and truly mean it and not just question it. Everything that I looked at, searched, listened to, I didn't find a specific answer. I found that everyone's love is completely different. The way that makes me feel loved is different then they way that makes you feel loved. I'll love certain things about a significant other where when you are looking you might love other things. The only answer I really came up with was that every single person in this world loves differently, they feel loved differently. That's the crazy part too that everyone loves differently, that everyone feels loved in a different way it's absolutely astonishing. It honestly just blows me away, LOVE is just such a beautiful thing it really is and to feel loved is honestly one of the best feelings in the

It is easier to feel love than to explain love. In the wise words of my grandmother “love is the feeling you have in your heart for another person, and giving your heart to that person.” I love this definition that my grandmother gave me because love is not a one sided street. To love you need that other person to give you back the feeling that you give to them. Others answered my question with great answers like “putting someone elses happiness before your own” and “a feeling of peace within your soul.”…
