The definition of Identity is the qualities of a person that distinguishes them from others. Some haven’t had the opportunity to let go of the expectations placed on them by others. They choose to conform. I chose to conform, and it something that I regret doing. I should have let people judge, misunderstand,and gossip about me, but I shouldn’t have conformed. I should have been an individual with my own aspirations in life. As a kid, I was taught that since I’m a girl, I have to clean the house while my brothers did nothing, simply because they were boys. For the longest time of my life, I was being mistreated for being a female. And I let people mistreat me, I didn’t stop them, because of fear. Fear of what they might think of me. However,
