We often think about a few questions relating to evil. What is evil? Who created evil? Does evil even exists? These types of questions people think about through out there life. I believe that evil is things that are morally bad and also something that is harmful or that causes harm to another human. People experience or see many evil things in life and we try to find out the meaning behind it.
Evil is written about in the bible. Human beings might question God’s existence if they are going through a rough time in their life or something really bad has happened to them or other people. They question that if God is only good and not evil why is he letting so much evil in the world happen each and every day. “ “…the gods …show more content…
The first category is evil against one another and the second is evil against God. According to the bible, examples of evil against one another could be murder, theft, and adultery. Examples of evil against God are unbelief, idolatry, and blasphemy. Most people believe that evil is real and that it happens all around the world. The Holocaust, World Wars, 9/11 are just some of the few events that have happened over the years. People often wonder where does this Evil come from and why does it exist? Individuals argue a lot that if God is the creator of everything in the world that exists and that evil exists, therefore God is the creator of evil. The conclusion that God is the creator of evil follows logically from the premises. But you see, we here will be found praying for people on death row, on their way to noose or electric chair – not because we are on there side, but because they weren’t born to do the evil they did, weren’t sent here by the Lord to do that.”(Close). I believe this to be true because those types of people need our prayers because they most likely will not get a lot of them from people. In an article by Gary Zimak “Should We Pray for the Soulds of Murders and Terrorits”, Zimak writes 5 reasons why we should pray for those people. One of reasons was that some people need more help, “...the more evil a person is considered to be, the less likely it is that anyone will be praying for his soul.” (Zimak). Many people argue that those “monsters” such as Hitler and Stalin should not be prayed for. They believe that they do not deserve it and should suffer in the most extreme ways. But is it really their fault that they turned to be such horrible human beings or should we blame others for the
