In this assignment I am going to explain the definition and explore the rationale behind end of life/palliative care for people with learning disabilities. I have also chosen to use the Term “learning disabilities” as it is relevant to the UK and is the most up to date term currently in use. In addition, I have also gone into detail about the importance of research and evidence based practice. I will also expand in detail as to the steps I took to find information using a vast range of tools. Furthermore, I have included a critical appraisal for each article including the strengths and weaknesses of the research and how they may or may not benefit practice.
