What is Brotherly Love There are many reckoned forces in this world. Many things we do not understand. There are many things we take for granted such as brotherly love, that help to keep our lives intact. There isn’t anything stronger than love in this world. No matter what, our lives are fueled by love; It is what keeps us going. For those who have not experienced love, it is one of the most warming experiences a person will ever feel. But brotherly love is a whole different type of love. It isn’t the friend zone type of love, but the love that you share with ‘brothers’ that makes you a family. Through the ages, mystics, sages, singers and poets have all expressed the ballad and call to love. As humans, we have searched endlessly for the experience of love through the outer senses. Great nations have come and gone under the guise of love for their people. Religions have flourished and perished while claiming the true path to love. We, the people of this planet, may have missed the simplicity of unconditional love.” (Love) One of the most important qualities of brotherly love is the fact that despite what has happened in life so far, each of you look past all the bad and still share a love or bond together. Unconditional love is also shown by showing some love to your brothers whenever they are in need. In a good case of brotherly love each of the partners are willing to drop whatever they are doing to help the other when they are in need. Or when a friend is need you and your family should be accepting and treat them as a part of your family. That’s how unconditional love is. “A kind and lenient attitude toward people.” (Free) The denotation of brotherly love is just an attitude in where you are kind and helpful to anyone in need. I use the term brothers loosely but I certainly mean it. Over my lifetime I have made many friends that were my brothers, but the bond was always created through baseball. As I got to college, I knew one of the fifty four kids on my baseball team. After a few days, I had fifty four brothers. It took us just a few days to be able to walk into each other’s rooms and be able to talk about anything. If one kid was having troubles we were all welcoming and open to talk to. We worked together as all of us were trying to figure out how this year was going to work out. That is how brotherly love works. We barely knew each other and barely knew each other’s past, but none of that mattered. We had already created a brotherly bond that could not be broken. Now don’t get me wrong, brotherly love doesn’t just have to be guys, it can be girls or even your real brothers. But the way the love is shown still applies. Many times brotherly love is between two blood brothers. Usually the younger brother looks up to the older brother as a role model and sometimes a fatherly
