As people, it is in our tendency to want to be seen as beautiful in our own skin. By definition, beauty is described as a combination of qualities, such as shape, color, or form, that pleases the aesthetic senses, especially the sight. In another definition it defines it as “a beautiful woman. Many times when you think of beauty it often refers to a woman, and 90% of time, women are the ones who actually care for the definition of beauty or are the face of beauty. The more people explore the world, the more they comprehend in every country what beauty means in different places. That’s why people shouldn’t judge what beauty is because it’s so hard to say who is and who isn’t beautiful if everyone has a different definition for it. The meaning of beauty in America can change extraordinarily from the meaning of beauty in outside nations, yet most nations share a couple of regular thoughts with respect to what genuine beauty truly is. When it comes to Korean bodies they prefer for the women to be shorter, smaller female body parts and overall for them to be thinner or skinny, when a woman is petite she is considered beautiful. Whereas Americans view a woman’s body to be considered “beautiful” when they have flat stomachs, small in size and surprisingly having long legs and little over average height( approximately 5’8). Although they have many differences they do have a few similarities as well, for example both American and Koreans consider a woman beautiful if they have a small nose and big eyes and if a woman is thinner more than a woman who is plus size.
