Definition Of Abortion

Improved Essays
In the United States the definition of abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy. My definition of abortion is simple; it 's murder. In our own Constitution, the foundation for our country, it states in the inalienable rights section the right to "life, liberty, and happiness"; when you add abortion to the picture were taking away someone 's right who can 't speak for themselves. So not only are we murderers, we are discriminating against those who can 't speak for themselves. I full heartedly believe abortion is wrong in all cases. Abortion goes against our rights, our morals, and most importantly ourselves. Abortion is unnatural and playing God never worked out well for anyone. First off, the majority of Americans believe …show more content…
That number is astronomically stupid. If we can 't directly tackle getting abortion to be illegal, then can we at least have a limit to the amount of children a woman is allowed to murder? Nowadays women rely on abortion as a form of contraception, setting the precedent is doesn 't matter what kind of sex they 're having or who they 're having it with because if anything does happen, abortion is there to save the day. If abortion was illegal women would be forced to show responsibilities for their body and their actions. The numbers for safe sex would improve drastically, because of the imminent risk of ACTUALLY having to birth a child, which would benefit our teen pregnancy statistics. With abortion as an option, it also reduces the number of adoptions available. The argument that abortion is necessary is invalid because of all the adoption agencies all around the globe. No woman is forced to be a mother, even when you birth a child, you don 't have to parent them. There are millions of women in the world DESPERATE to have a child and be a mother that would do anything just to have a little girl or boy, and then we have people ruining those chances by killing off their own offspring. One of my best friends is adopted, and I see the love her mother has for her is no different than the love my mother has for me, blood or not. But the fact that there was a chance my best friends biological parents could have chosen to abort her instead of give her up for adoption sickens me. I thank that woman from across the world for setting aside the time to think about her decisions and chose the right one by giving her up for adoption so someone else can love her as much as she deserves to be

Defunding Planned Parenthood could result in way more unplanned pregnancies and even more abortions. Many would be willing to say that the previous statement is wrong, but yet they are unable to name another facility willing to help women of all ages with little to no money. Yes, most clinics in America offer the same things that Planned Parenthood offers but, at a cost. Most clinics require some form of insurance and copay, that is where Planned Parenthood comes into play. Abortion Controversy

Abortion has been one of the main topics in America to produce a plethora of controversy, marking the collision of two values: pro-life and pro-choice. While we know that each side produces a wide variety of points as to why each group believes what they do, we still must be omniscient about the life of the child. Someone who is pro-choice would argue that the woman has the right to her own body and what happens to it; however, taking the side of pro-choice disregards the child’s life. This seems like complete balderdash to me, almost to be noted ignorant. Abortion is wrong to me because it is considered murder, it causes psychological and emotional trauma to the mother, and it teaches people to ignore responsibility.…

A woman who lacks the ability to manage her fertility lacks the ability to manage her own life, and banning abortion would be a direct violation of a woman’s privacy. The main reason most people want abortion banned is because they think a fetus is a mortal and it is religiously as well as morally wrong to kill what they believe to be living. Not all people in America are christians, though. Take away that aspect of it and there is no real argument against abortion. Morality is about the wellbeing of real live beings who can feel pleasure and pain, preference and intention, who at their most complex can live in relation to other beings, exchange emotion and delight in their own existence.…

There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…

Since 1760 BC, abortions have been sought-out internationally. There are a variety of reasons for them: because sexually abused women do not desire for guardianship of the child, females do not want their body to be unfit because of pregnancy, or it was a careless mistake that could have been prevented with birth control or any other prevention method. Many women have nonessential abortions. One quintessential example of this is in China; they kill fetuses if the sonogram proves the unborn child to be female. Abortions should be illegal because it is unjust and purposeless slaughter to the unborn human being.…

The definition of an abortion is the process of ending a woman’s pregnancy by the termination of an embryo or fetus inside the mother’s womb (Pros and Cons Abortion). During the process of an abortion, the unborn child is not treated as a human being. The baby is treated as a nuisance; it is not given the proper care, it is regarded as a nonliving thing (Abortion Facts). Abortion is not the only method to take when a mother is confused by her feelings about the pregnancy for how her pregnancy came about (Arguments about Abortion). There is no reason to punish a child when they have no control of what is going on in the world around them.…
