My Name A Holly is a plant covered in evergreen leaves with red berries all over. In English a Holly is a shrub. This type of plant is very popular in the month of December because of the holiday Christmas. A holly is made into a reed for this holiday and it is meant to represent Jesus Christ’s thorn crown. For many though it is only meant for decoration. I have always loved my name. Originally my parents wanted to name me ‘Morgan’. Leading up to my mother’s due date, my dad realized both my brothers and mother names ended with the letters ‘an’ or the end of their names had the similar sound.
