When her face gets red, her voice gets louder, and her words are stronger. That's my mother when she's mad. I like her better when her smile gets wider, her teeth look brighter, and her laugh is bursting out loud with joy. That's when I know she's happy. She has all sorts of characteristics just like anyone else, but being heroic is her most dominant characteristic.

My mother is the type of person that will hear someone cry in a public bathroom and will crawl under the door just to help that person out. Like she once did. She was at an airport ready to leave on her vacation. She made a quick stop to the bathroom and overheard a girl crying in one of the stalls, yet no one in the bathroom paid much attention to it. She knocked and asked if she needed help and well of course the girl said yes. My mom crawled under the door and saw the girl sitting in the corner next to the toilet. My mom gave her advice and helped her out, so she could feel better. That showed me that my mother isn't just a hero to me and my family, but also to anyone who is having issues. …show more content…

To be heroic you don't just have to be physically strong; you have to also be mentally strong. It takes strength to be a single mother raising four kids. To have strength; self-confidence is needed. My mother is the most heroic person to me for being strong enough to maintain two jobs to help us have a full stomach when we got hungry, to have a home and a bed to sleep on at night, and to have a proper outfit for school everyday. She had confidence in herself that she could give us a good future. With all her hard work and strength, we received everything and more than we ever wished for as kids.
