There are so many things that people fight for in their life. For example, People fight for their life while battling cancer, some fight for their country, or fighting for the rights one has as a person. A song named Superheroes says, “When you've been fighting for it all your life. You've been struggling to make things right. That's how a superhero learns to fly” (The Script) This shows that if you fight for what you want or believe in you will succeed and what you are fighting for will pay off. Being strong in certain points in your life can be extremely difficult. I remember when my great uncle had passed away and we had to attend his funeral. Now, some people are not close to distant or elderly family members which make these situations easier for some people. But it wasn’t for me. My uncle was in the nursing home for two years and everyday my grandma, cousin, and I would go up and visit him. Obviously, over this time we had created a closer relationship which made it harder for me to let him go. When it came time for the funeral, I was standing next to my cousin Alijah who would always go up to the nursing home. We stood there listening to the pastor talk about our great uncle as the slideshow played pictures of his past. I knew in my head I had to be strong and not start to cry, because if I were to start crying Alijah would too. Holding in the tears was something I was fighting to hold back that whole time. I heard Alijah let …show more content…
They may be worthy or ruthless, but they are still memories. Do you remember that first roller-coaster ride you took? Of course you do! It made a mark on your life.. Not being able to see what happens next and not knowing the feelings that come within. Then, at the least expected time, something happens that throws one off track that can change a life in any way possible. You never know what is going to happen next in life. At that point you decided if (A) you loved the thrilling uplifting feeling of the ride or (B) you never wanted to do it again. My decision was mixed at this point. I was about seven years old my family went to Adventureland for vacation. I had never been on a roller- coaster ad my Aunt Ashley said that if I was tall enough I had to go on the ride. Walking scrunched over to the “You have to be as tall as my hat to ride” sign; I stood there saying, “I’m too short. I’ll just go next year.” I tried walking away. That did not work. Ashley said to me, “You can sit by me. You will be fine. It’s really fun.” When we finally got on that thing, I was clung to my aunt. When it got to the top of the biggest hill I held her tighter. Then I remember being so cared I shoved my head in her armpit so I wouldn’t see anything. It was over in no time. That day I hated roller coasters, but for some reason that I don’t remember, I love them now! Life isn’t always what it seems to be; especially if you ride the roller coaster a few

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. You can look at something as exquisite, or atrocious. It doesn’t change what it is, but it changes your reaction to it. Often times, people have conflicting thoughts on what they think the value of life is, what the point of life is, or what life is really supposed to mean. Or should humans simply live as they desire and not put a price tag on another person until after they are dead?…
