Both parties must be ready and willing to listen to one another. They will have to take time to listen what the other has to say. When it is time to speak, they have to try to understand what is really upsetting each other. And never, ever, bring up mistakes from the past. When one does something wrong, he/she should be ready to admit it and ask for forgiveness. Effective communication skill is never overrated when it comes to marriage as it gives spouses space to express their hopes and fears. Communication is also about sharing of sentiments and ideas. Good communication skill interrelates with compromise. For instance, couples having constant conflicts are major grounds that lead a marriage to failure. These conflicts can be easily resolved by talking it out and hearing other person's point of view. Through good communication skill, it becomes more easy for a husband and wife to establish a common ground, and effectively.
Additionally, the pathway of marriage can be determined based on many different aspects. Marriage will not always continue to be the way every couple desires it to be by itself.
