Definition Essay: What Makes A Good Day?

Decent Essays
What defines a "good" day? Is a good day characterized by an abundance of luck, extravagant events, or can it be more mundane? In my opinion, a good day occurs without planning. It's a day where the universe seems perfectly aligned and undeniably wholesome from the very break of dawn. Somehow, every miniscule detail of a good day contributes to the euphoric emotions that the subject of said good day experiences. In the summer of 2013, I experienced a good day so monumental it still sits on the highest shelf in my memory, as poignant and polished as ever. I didn't win the lottery or attend a lavish party, but I did experience a peacefulness so deep within my being that it can only be described as the product of a truly good day.
