Listening to the discussion in class, I totally agree a hundred percent with Liz. Those who join and say “I am doing this for the people and for my nation” still knowing that they may die aren’t suicidal. People who decide to enter because to themselves they think “I’m ready to die” in my opinion are suicidal people. People who join the army already know what they were getting into when they signed up for it. They know they have a 50/50 chance of survival when going into battle. These are two examples that I think are not suicidal. They stated in a video (I can’t recall when and where I watched it) before their death that they were going to die a “good” death. This, in my opinion, is not suicide.
