Where is my freedom, you might ask? Well you see I can have freedom anywhere, it just depends where I am at. In my house your are not allowed to do certain things, like when I get grounded I have to earn my freedom back. It’s not just once you earn it, it’s not going to stay there forever. My community is similar to others. We have some of our rules like other, for example I still can’t drive because I’m not old enough. I also can’t get a job, because of my age. One thing that does happen if you do something really bad is that you can end up in jail! In your house you probably just had your phone taken away. Just like your house you probably have to earn your freedom back.
One of the last Questions is that why even bother of having freedom. I feel good about myself when I earn my freedom, when I use my freedom. One last place to think about when you think of freedom is our whole country, our world. Freedom is something you can take, but it’s better to give. Countries around the world don’t know how it feels to be free. Slaves had to keep on fighting for their rights, for their freedom!
