Improved Essays
Sometimes we think about fictional movies and TV shows and specially about the hero. But have you ever asked yourself does true heroes really exist? what is a hero? Do we really need to be saved? The best example for this topic is Prophet Muhammad. he is a true hero that existed, a true definition of a hero, and he did really save the human beings from the dark ages. I think that heroes really exist and some of them even have powers.
First, what is a hero? “A hero is no braver than an ordinary man, but he is brave five minutes longer.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson, or “A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself.” ~Joseph Campbell. There is no a specific definition for a hero, everyone can define a hero in the way

Heroes do exist but not in the form of Superman or Spiderman, they exist in the form of regular people but they have the perseverance of changing their fate to the better. Some people can be their own heroes, as Joseph Campbell said: “You are the hero of your own story”. And some people have other regular people as their heroes like their parents, friends, or even their teachers. “My heroes are and were my parents. I can’t see having anyone else as my heroes”.~ Michael Jordan
Third, do we really need to be saved? Yes. Human beings are in danger and need to be saved quickly, because some human beings need someone to tell them what is right from what is wrong. For example, technology. “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity. “~Albert Einstein. Technology did not only make people monstrous but it lead them to do the wrong thing without knowing. Sadly, because they don’t have faith in themselves so they need someone (a hero) to tell them that what they are doing is wrong. “You do need mentors, but in the end, you really just need to believe in yourself.” ~Diana Ross.
In conclusion, we know that heroes do exist but not in the fictional way in that most authors have taught us. And a true hero is someone you trust and protects you from the bad things. I believe that heroes are everywhere but we did not discover some of them

Heroes have found their way into our oral tradition and the written record throughout human time. In fact, one of our oldest written text is the Epic of Gilgamesh. From fireside whispers of folk tales, to Greek mythos and war stories, maybe it is the human need to have hope personified that has mankind setting individuals on to pedestals. Flawed, or shiny perfection, they represent the ideal of a savior from whatever harrowing situation we are in or our minds can create. Yet, heroes are subjective, not objective.…
