What is a hero? A hero can be anyone no matter the age. Heroes are someone that is caring and selfless. They never put themselves first and put other people’s lives before their own and think of others. They can be just a regular person, but one day they step up in time of need of help. They may not even know that one day they will be a hero to someone. They sometimes even think that they aren’t a hero but to someone they are. Heroes are people that step up in times of need because they are kind and selfless.
Heroes are people that put others lives in front of their own, even if it means they could possibly die or get hurt. You may never know, one day you could be a hero to someone. They don’t really even have to think of whether or not to help in times of crisis. Instead they just do it even if there is no reward or benefit from helping. Heroes don’t have to be people in a costume with a mask on. Regular people can relate to superheroes in movies. They can both step up and help. An example of a hero could be any first responder. They are always alert and ready to rush to any location at any time of the day. Some of them help save lives, while others are trying to find criminals. They don’t care that they are putting themselves in danger to help save people. Another example of a hero is a doctor or a surgeon. They chose the job to help people and possibly save people's lives. It was their choice of what job they wanted and they chose to help people. They are choosing to help people in need no matter how important their patients condition is or how bad it is.
