What does Freedom mean to me?
Philip Randolph once stated “ Freedom is never given, it is won”. When others comprehend the meaning of freedom they might say we get to live our lives, how we want and do not put much thought into it. They are not wrong, we do, but there is so much more than that. They do not consider the families whose husbands, fathers and children are in the army and who have even died. They do not think of the families and how they don’t get to see their husbands, wives, or kids for months or years at a time in person because they are fighting for people they have never even met before. When they get shot at, they do not know if they are going to come back dead or alive because they might get killed in the process. What
