You believe in them, despite what everyone else says about them, you take their side. When you need some to rely on, you can count on them. They will be there for you, drop everything they're doing and go to you. Maybe you are in need of some new food to try, you ask them and they tell you about a great place. You take their word, and the food turns out being amazing or it doesn't; but you believe in them. They probably don't have the same taste buds as you, and maybe you knew that, so then why did you go to that “great” restaurant? Because you had trust in them. Something so valuable, you can't buy nor hope to gain in one day. “Takes years to build, seconds to break, forever to repair.” You’ve strengthen that trust, gone through the …show more content…
“In the position of being left in care or guardianship of another”. These definitions, provided by Dictionary.com, are all examples of trust: different forms of trust at least. They could apply if you're lending money to a person, you trust that they will pay you back; or if you have a bodyguard, you trust in their protection. But is that really trust at all? You probably just felt bad for person that the person didn't have any money, and your guardian or bodyguard is most likely getting paid. So you're most likely not going to be willing to rely those people at anytime, or have any confidence that they will have your back when you need it the most, or to be there when you are in need of someone to talk to, or have the certainty that they can keep a secret of yours. But that to me is my definition of trust. Trust that doesn't give any materialistic value, rather the trust itself is valuable …show more content…
It's not something that came out of nowhere , we have been growing closer throughout the past couple of years. But one day, after school we talked ,as usual, and I started noticing something off with him, I asked him what was wrong, if everything was ok. He answered me saying “nothing, just really tired”, which I decided to believe him since he had just returned from his soccer practice. Then a couple of days past by and he was still acting the same way, so I asked again and insisted that he told me what was wrong with him. Yet he still kept refusing that something was, for why I repeatedly asked again. And it went back and forth until he exploded, blurting out “I can't trust you”! Which struck me, I couldn't believe what I had just heard. My brother, the person who I trusted the most, now didn't trust me. I didn't know what I had done, but I knew I had to do something about it. For why I decided to talk to him at some point to try to solve it. And it's been a while now, yet till this day I am still trying to repair the damage that I have done. I didn't seem to value the trust I had with my brother, and because of that, I lost it. Something that I won't let happen

Our essential question was “How is trust is created or destroyed?” I would answer it by saying that trust is created or destroyed by the presence or lack of credibility. Throughout our entire podcast, we saw that a common theme with trust in all three scenarios is the strong ability to rely on the other person. For example, Janis relies on Cady to betray The Plastics, until she loses her trust when she realizes she can no longer rely on her.…

Because in the past, I’ve trusted people that have turned around and talked about me behind my back which hurt me in the long run. Which is why I can see others perspectives that have been hurt in the past by someone or multiple people that they’ve trusted relying on trust so much. I don’t really think that trust would never exist, because there will always be that gut feeling about something or someone that you go with. That feeling is trust, someone just put a name to that feeling in your gut. But somehow if trust didn’t exist, I can see this world way different than it is today.…

There are so many definitions of the word loyalty how do you know which one to use or what loyalty means. The main word you see in the definition of loyalty is support, whether that be supporting someone or something. This could be with your parents, in a relationship, or it could even go for your favorite sports team. Parents are a good example of this.…

The boy in this picture is the girl’s brother, Francisco, and the girl in this picture is Sandybel (me). In the past both the boy and the girl would fight all the time no matter what.…

I know that it was primarily my fault because I am guilty of Deception. Deception is “concealment, distortion, or lying in communication”.(209) because i know he would not expect me to lie to him or keep things from him. When we first started to hang out I would smile and nod and be polite when i had to but that was not who I was but he did not know that because I never showed him my true side. This played a big part in the way we communicated and it affected our relationship a big deal because I was not able to actually connect with my brother until after he ran away from home.
