Definition Essay: The Different Types Of My Hero

There are many definitions when it comes to the word hero. Often times the first image that pops into a person’s mind is a person with superhuman abilities wearing a cape. Though this may be true there is a broader category of heroes, in fact, most people in that group are ordinary people that we see in our daily lives. Another definition would be someone who helps someone or something because they have the ability or because they want to do so. A hero is a term that includes everyone from the Flash saving people and stopping metahumans to a mom who brings her kids to soccer practice every day, never misses a game, and cheers the players up when they lose a game. Right now my hero is my mom. She recently was diagnosed with rectal cancer, and yet she still has a positive attitude and does her best to take care of my dad and me. She also is able to spend seventy hours a month in a volunteer bible education work. My mom is a hero to me because she helps people to the best of her ability.

In his dreams, he could save a life, bring a murderer to justice, fight a war, stop a war, and stop a gang. I admit I am nothing special, and most of the time I do things wrong, I am always messing up and behind the times, I can not seem to ever get it right, but in my dreams the impossible happens.
